The Miele Honeycomb Care Laundry Collection easily and
safely launders a wide range of clothing including woolens, silks and other
delicate fabrics once washed by hand or sent to a dry cleaner. MasterCare
technology, available on the W 4840 model, adds an enhanced program selection
to optimize the care and cleaning of outerwear, comforters, dress shirts and
much more. Miele’s Honeycomb Care laundry is programmed by clothing type so a
user selects the type and the machine knows how to effectively clean them.

The Honeycomb Drum extends the life of clothing 4x longer than other washers; an
aerodynamic lint filter on the super large capacity dryer that reduces the

stand / storage drawer with a shelf for setting laundry baskets at the perfect height
for sorting and folding.
The Honeycomb Drum enhances cleaning performance while preserving

MasterCare wash program setting. MasterCare offers a wide range of options for

Miele’s electronic controls continuously monitor to protect
not only clothing, but also pets and the environment. MasterCare’s
Out-of-Balance Sensor detects dramatic weight shifts in the Honeycomb Drum
during its first rotations. If a family pet, for instance, was to be accidentally
included in the load, the sensor would stop the cycle and unlock the door
immediately. SpinClean ensures that larger volume loads are cleaned thoroughly,
without excess wear, by manipulating the drum rhythms to ensure superior
results and longevity. Intelligent Water Intake sensors uphold Miele’s century
long pledge to use only as much water as necessary and not a single drop more.
The Honeycomb Care Collection comes equipped with a child lock,
self-diagnostics that tell you when there’s a problem and a PC Update so that
programming can be enhanced to add additional settings.
The Honeycomb Care tumble dryer is offered in gas or
electric and has a wide range of sensor controlled and timed drying programs
including Turbo, Gentle and Anti-crease modes. Touchtronic microprocessor
monitors moisture levels to drying temperatures, making adjustments as needed
to prevent over drying and over heating fabrics. Miele’s aerodynamic filter
technology aids overall drying consistency and reduces the total dry time by
keeping a continuous airflow. The result is laundry care with more uniform
drying and reduced creasing — requiring less ironing. The design life of a
Miele tumble dryer is more than 5,000 cycles, which is equivalent to a
twenty-year life expectancy.
The optional appliance stands put the washer and dryer at a
more ergonomic height for easy loading and unloading and has a customizable
storage system. Integrated compartments allow for storage of laundry detergents
or other small appliances. A foldaway tray lifts the laundry basket to the
perfect level to transfer clothing to and from the machine then folds back out
of the way allowing access to the entire drawer.

Large Capacity Honeycomb Care Systems have a larger load
volume and can be stacked or freestanding with or without optional stands.

Super Large Capacity Honeycomb Care Systems, have the
largest load volume of any Miele residential laundry appliance and are
available with optional storage stands that put the laundry at an ergonomic
