Sterling Accord Seated Shower

Sterling Accord seated shower is an affordable and aesthetically pleasing product. The geometric back wall design and block style side walls are visually appealing and flawlessly integrate seams into the overall shower design. As an additional comfort element, the curved back wall maximizes the available showering space and creates a sense of openness.

Featuring a seat that is movable and removable, the Accord seated shower allows for safety and flexibility in the bathing space. The user is able to position the seat on either side of the shower, or remove it altogether. When positioned at either side of the shower, the seat fits snugly into place and allows the bather to rest his/her back against the side wall. The seat is designed at a comfortable sitting and transfer height of 17 ½”, and provides more seating area than others in the industry.

Within arm’s reach of the seat are deep, semi-hidden shelves that allow for ample storage of up to twice as many bathing items as the average shower. The continuous arch of the back wall aids in partially concealing the shelving space to reduce visual clutter and give the shower a clean look.

Designed to be placed in standard-sized alcove spaces, the Accord seated shower is available in both 48”x36” and 60”x36” models, with or without backer kits. Additionally, the shower is available with optional grab bars – large central and smaller side bars – to aid in entering and exiting, as well as sitting down and standing up from the seat. Designed with a similar curvature as the shower, these grab bars are sturdy and blend well into the overall style of the showering space.

The Accord seated shower is made of durable Vikrell material and utilizes Sterling’s click-together, caulkless system to ease the task of installation. The multi-piece bath/shower features a single pivot point installation system making it a snap to interlock the walls with the base. The wall clips provide an audible click that notifies the installer that the walls have been installed in the proper position – one that is snug and water-tight.

The Sterling Accord seated shower is available in three colors – White, Kohler Almond and Kohler Biscuit – with the color molded into the product. Vikrell material offers durability and is resistant to scratching and staining, as well as chipping, cracking and peeling.
