Beale Touchless Faucet

American Standard Moments Hands-Free Faucets for the Bath

Modern convenience and water efficiency are now seamlessly integrated into the contemporary styled Moments hands-free bathroom faucets from American Standard.

The universally accessible no-touch faucet design is safer and easier to use thanks to the Selectronic proximity sensor, an advanced system that delivers on the promise, not the hassle, of hands-free faucet technology. It is ideal in homes with small children, elderly or physically-challenged adults because it eliminates the possibility of leaving the faucet running when not in use.

An optional thermostatic mixing valve supplies water at a comfortable, preselected temperature to help prevent potential hot-water scalding.

In addition, Moments hands-free bathroom faucets provide homeowners the opportunity to conserve water.  The 1.5 gallons per minute (gpm) no-touch faucet model uses nearly one-third less water than a conventional 2.2 gpm bathroom faucet.  This water savings can be more than doubled with the 0.5 gpm high efficiency model, which saves 77.3 percent water over a standard bathroom fixture.

The Moments’ Selectronic sensor automatically activates the water when an object or hands are within the sensing zone.  A built-in comfort-timer stops water flow two seconds after motion ceases allowing the user to move their hands comfortably without the water turning off. The Selectronic sensing zone is preset at the factory and can be easily adjusted either manually or via remote control with the touch of a button.

Solid brass construction and seamless design provide for easy cleaning and durability.  The single-post lavatory faucet can be installed with or without the optional four-inch deck plate, designed to offer flexible mounting options that will work with a variety of sinks.  For installation convenience, the product is shipped with 15” factory installed stainless steel supply lines that include 3/8” compression connections.

McGuire Barbara Barry Outdoor Collection

McGuire Furniture outdoor collection by Barbara Barry includes 15 pieces that were designed with comfort in mind: Every design detail well-considered, the handcraftsmanship meticulously executed.

As in all of her work, Barry was inspired by simplicity, craftsmanship and strength of material. She brings contemporary shapes and materials to McGuire’s existing outdoor collections.

With this collection, Barbara Barry and McGuire collaborated to create simple and comfortable shapes that are contemporary and easy to live with. Each piece has a structural harmony; each form relates to the way it is constructed and is pared down to its most elemental form ensuring that the collection as a whole is understated and calm. In keeping with the contemporary shapes and mandate of ‘indoor’ comfort, the collection has a lower sit and the cushions feature indoor materials and construction - wrapped in an internal waterproof/mold-resistant casing. Barry was also inspired by the color of the trunks of palm trees, a soft taupe that blends into its outdoor surroundings no matter the location.

The collection is made from durable woven resin fiber, teak and powder-coated aluminum frames, colored in a neutral ‘bark’ taupe. The pieces are long-lasting, easy to care for - and extremely comfortable.

The seating and occasional tables are available in Driftwood finish. Driftwood is a weather-worn gray that feels easily at home in any outdoor space; a true neutral that works with all McGuire outdoor collections.

The design vocabulary is simple yet striking, articulated by the Plateau lounge pieces and Cab seating. The Plateau lounge pieces, as well as the Harbor Chaise, feature low profiles, architectural shapes, solid woven resin in a basketweave pattern and loose cushions. The Cab dining and lounge chairs are curved and inviting, enveloping and dramatic with cut-out arms that create a graphic presence.

The versatile Communal Extension Dining Table is a go-anywhere piece that comfortably seats six without extension leaves at 91" and up to ten fully extended at 121"; the top effortlessly glides open on aluminum channels, where the two leaves can easily store out-of-sight. This table was designed to withstand the elements, but would also look right at home in any indoor dining space.
